Psychiatric Evaluations
The initial appointment involves a 60-minute discussion focused on your present concerns, level of functioning, and your personal, family, and medical histories. This information is vital in creating a personalized treatment plan for you. Please note that it make take 1-2 additional 60 minutes sessions beyond your initial appointment to gather all the necessary information.

Medication Management
Medication management services include support in starting/stopping medications, education, required monitoring, and side effect management. The goal is for you to feel confident about your medications. Pharmacogenetic testing is available or folks that are interested.

Holistic Care
Recognizing you as a whole person is crucial for facilitating optimal healing. We will explore various elements that impact mental health, including stress levels, everyday routines, diet, physical activity, sleep habits, exposure to sunlight, physical health, and social interactions. Complementary medicine may also be suggested to enhance your overall wellness.

Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is incorporated into most sessions. What you think and feel matters! In fact, brain imaging studies have shown that psychotherapy leads to positive changes in certain brain structures and their functioning. I most often utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, supportive psychotherapy, social rhythms therapy, interpersonal therapy, and solution-focused psychotherapy.
